9th Grade Experience

To be honest, it wasn't as scary as I thought it'd be. Everyone is nice but it's harder to know everybody since there are so many more students compared to middle school. The teachers are harder on us since they're preparing us for college and PE is less games more work. I can tell the teachers and staff care about what's going to happen to us in the future. They take their job seriously and I look up to them for that. It's hard managing so many kids everyday, especially when some don't really care. Finals were nothing like the SBAC testing I had in middle school. Looking back, I regret the stuff I did in middle school because it's so easy compared to what I deal with now. I like that we get collab days and minimum days. It's always good to rub that in my little brother's face. Anyway, I'd like to thank my 9th grade teachers for all they have done for me. Avocado toast.

This is pretty self explanatory but you may have not heard of avocado toast yet. It's healthy and easy to make (takes 10 minutes at most) and it tastes good.

RECIPE:
- avocado
- bread
- egg (fried or scrambled)
- salt & pepper
- red pepper flakes (optional)
- cilantro (optional)
- lemon juice (optional)
- garlic seasoning or salt (optional)

**The red pepper flakes, cilantro, garlic seasoning, and lemon juice go into the avocado mixture. Put it in to taste.

DIRECTIONS:
Toast your bread slices and mash your avocado with a fork until mushy inside a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Spread the mush onto the bread and put your egg on top. And you're done.
